Troubleshooting
Common fixes for OAuth, quota, empty search results, and billing issues.
OAuth flow doesn't redirect back to your AI client
If after signing in with Google, the browser doesn't return to Claude.ai or your MCP client:
- Clear browser cookies for
mcp.parlay.runand try again - Verify your AI client supports MCP Streamable HTTP transport
- Check that your popup blocker isn't preventing the OAuth callback
"Tool call failed" or "quota exceeded"
If you see a quota error:
- Free plan: 15 tool calls per month, resets monthly
- Pro plan: 150 tool calls per month, resets aligned with billing cycle
- Check your dashboard at parlay.run/dashboard for current quota usage
- If quota is genuinely needed, upgrade to Pro at parlay.run/pricing
Tool returns "no results found"
If search_markets or other tools return empty results:
- Try broader keywords ("election" instead of "2026 California Senate primary")
- Use
discover_marketsto browse without keyword filtering - Check that the venue has active markets in your search topic
- Manifold returns sentiment markets only; for real-money use Polymarket/Kalshi
- Opinion.trade has limited liquidity in this version (see Opinion.trade)
Subscription/billing issues
If a charge appears unexpected, or subscription state is wrong:
- Check Stripe email for invoice records
- Visit parlay.run/dashboard, click "Manage Subscription" to view/modify in Stripe portal
- For refund within 14 days of first subscription: email support@parlay.run
- For other billing concerns: support@parlay.run
