Privacy policy for Parlay
May 5, 2026

Overview

Parlay is a read-only MCP service for prediction-market research. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we work with service providers and data sources when you use parlay.run, the Parlay dashboard, and Parlay MCP tools.

Parlay is not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, legal adviser, or tax adviser. We provide research context and source links only.

Information We Collect

Account and authentication data

When you sign in, we may collect your name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, provider account identifier, session metadata, and account status. Google sign-in is used to connect the website account with MCP Worker account records.

MCP install, plan, and quota data

We may process MCP installation status, plan name, quota usage, reset dates, enabled tools, tool names called, timestamps, request identifiers, and account-level usage metadata. This helps us enforce plan limits, troubleshoot issues, and protect the service from abuse.

User-provided content

When you use Parlay through an MCP client, we may process the market queries, tool arguments, selected venues, brief requests, support messages, and other content you choose to send. Do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.

We may collect IP address, user agent, browser type, device type, referring URLs, pages viewed, error logs, and security events. We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, preferences, fraud prevention, and basic service analytics.

Billing data

When paid upgrades are enabled, Stripe may process payment method details, billing address, transaction information, tax information, and fraud-prevention signals. Parlay does not store full card numbers. We receive billing status, plan status, invoice identifiers, and related account metadata needed to provide paid plans and support refunds.

Market data and source attribution

Parlay may process market titles, market IDs, venue names, source URLs, close dates, public market metadata, probability-like fields where available, source retrieval timestamps, and attribution metadata. We use source attribution so users can trace results back to the relevant venue or data source.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • create, authenticate, and secure accounts
  • link website sessions with MCP Worker account records
  • provide read-only MCP tools and dashboard status
  • enforce Free, Pro, and Team plan limits
  • respond to support requests
  • process billing, invoices, and refunds when paid upgrades are enabled
  • detect abuse, debug errors, and improve reliability
  • preserve source attribution and explain data-source limitations
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

Service Providers and Data Sources

We may share information with vendors and data sources only as needed to run Parlay:

  • Neon Postgres: hosts Parlay's Postgres database.
  • Better Auth and Google OAuth: support account authentication and provider account mapping.
  • Vercel and Cloudflare: support hosting, delivery, security, caching, and traffic protection.
  • Stripe: processes paid subscriptions, invoices, checkout, billing status, and refunds when payment flows are enabled.
  • PMXT and data sources: may provide or help identify prediction-market data, source metadata, and attribution fields.
  • Prediction-market venues and public data sources: may include Polymarket, Kalshi, Limitless, Manifold, Opinion.trade status information, venue APIs, public pages, and other source-linked market data.

These providers may process information under their own privacy notices and service terms. We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Parlay, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support billing records. MCP usage metadata and logs may be retained for abuse prevention, debugging, quota enforcement, and support.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, TLS in transit, provider-managed infrastructure controls, and secret management. No internet service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Parlay is not directed to children under 18. Do not use Parlay if you are under 18 or below the age required to use prediction-market research tools in your jurisdiction.
